Festival Management Workshop
Two-days training of facilitator (ToT) was conducted in the Polimanado from 8-9 September 2021 and was attended by 5 (five) students from various study programme, namely: Civil engineering, travel agent, accounting and IT. The objective of the training was to capacitate the 5 students in delivering festival management workshop and facilitating the process using the adapted ILO tools in a participatory method. The training was facilitated by the ILO NPO comprising a presentation of festival management concept, exercise of facilitation process and distribution of sessions among the 5 students. The facilitation process contains of brainstorming of festival ideas, selecting tagline and logo, working group discussion to review a launch event video and development of proposal.
The Festival Management Workshop took place for 4 days from 11, 13-15 September 2021 at Tiwoho village. The main objective of the workshop are to equip youth group of Tiwoho village with skills and knowledge on festival management. The workshop also provided experiences for 5 students as a pilot case of student project on delivering a participatory approach for community to organize a tourism event at Tiwoho village.
- Day 1. in total, 20 participants attended in the morning session and 25 in afternoon session;
- Day 2. in total, 18 participants attended in the morning session and 25 in afternoon session;
- Day 3. in total, 18 participants attended in the morning session and 28 in afternoon session;
- Day 4. in total, 20 participants attended in the morning session and 28 in afternoon session.
