Pilot Testing for Students in English Practicing for Local Tourism Community (Local Guide/Hospitality)

To help the community in improving their human resources in tourism sector. Activities such as providing mentoring training for community groups, namely, Youth Groups, Women’s Groups, and MSME Actors as creative economy supporting system has been conducting since last year.

One of a series of Polimanado, in collaboration with ILO as Implementing Project, interventions in improving community welfare in North Sulawesi is to increase the capacity of community in providing training on English language for the Youth in targeted villages

Related with this program, in August 30-31 at Budo village, September 1-2 at Paslaten-Likupang village, and September 3-4 at Tiwoho village, English language training for Youth Groups was carried out which was attended by 40 participants of each village. In Budo, a total of 27 female participants and 13 male participants has attended. In Paslaten-Likupang 21 female and 19 male participants, and in Tiwoho 16 female and 24 male participants.
